I've downloaded the latest North American Map and installed it to my fingerprinted USB drive but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to import it into the head unit on my Limited.
Can I ask, where did you find the Map update? I have upgraded my Infotainment system software twice now. I have no idea where to look for a GPS upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated!
Check this thread, starting at post #100. He says "The file I downloaded is an ISO file (disk image). You copy it to a thumb drive, insert it in your usb plug on your limited and turn the key on."

Give that a roll.
Thank you, but what happens is you buy the update and download it via the naviextras tool which installs a small ISO file on the USB and several folders with a lot files in each folder.
I insert the USB device, turn the ignition to accessories, turn on the radio, and the screen says 'authenticating' and doesn't do anything else. I guess I am going to have to call the MoCo numb nuts and see if they can help or refund my money. This Premium 6.5 GT head unit as just gotten to be ridiculous. It's now in it's 2nd year of production and still got severe issues. I am glad it's not the only reason I bought the bike.

I looked at the navi extras site and it says the map revision was released Q2 of 2013. Was the map file on your bike older than that? It's hard to believe there was no update in 2014?

Bummer. That simple process seems to have worked for others, so there might indeed be something randomly funky with your file or thumb drive, which sucks. Sorry about that. :-\

I've seen late built 2014's along with the 2015's with Q2 2014 maps. But doesn't look like naviextras offers them for sale yet.
