our summer ride crew are rding from Canada in mid July crossing over from Kingston,Ontario and riding to lake George for 3 days . one of the day trips i was looking at was leave Lake george one day and ride the west shore of Lake Champlain to the bridge at Rouse point over to route 2 south across the water to the Island and end up at Burlington VT for a Lunch someplace , we then plan to ride the east shore of the lake back to Lake George . i would appreciate any feedback on the roads and sights ?

If you mean the provincial Ferry At Kingston to Wolfe Island, the owner of the public ferry Horne’s passed away and as of now it’s still up in the air if it will run again.
Cross at the TI bridge or up to the Prescott to Ogdensburg, or further up at Cornwall to Massena

 

If you're going to be going over the crown point bridge rt 17 in Vermont is a must do and there's plenty of great riding in that area...Smugglers notch is a neat ride. So many great roads in this area, either in the Adirondacks or Vermont.
