Who out there has been to Daytona Biketoberfest. How was it and is it worth going? A group of us is going this year so I just wanted some input. Thanx in advance.

 

Biketoberfest is a lot of fun. You'll have a blast.

 

Went in 2007. Weather was awesome. Good crowd. THe weather is usually better in Oct. than Feb/March for BW. Go and enjoy!

Go tour Daytona Int'l Speedway/ A great take. At BW last year, we rode our bikes on the infield roads at the track. Awesome!

Go ride the coast and see all there is to see.

 

I've gone the last 2 years and had a killer time!!!

 

I was there every year from 92 till 99 when I moved it was always a blast.

 

I have been the last 7 years or so and always had a blast. That said, I am looking for something else to do instead this year, maybe a ride somewhere else. But if you have never been, its well worth checking out, lotsa fun.

 

where is the best place to stay? hotel on the beach?

I've been to both Bike week and Biketoberfest for the last 5 or so years. Both are the same except Biketoberfest is just a tad less crowded.

The good part is that Fantasyfest starts in Key West the week after Biketoberfest and if you have the time, it's well worth the 425 mile ride from Daytona, since you'll already be 790 miles closer to there than you are now.

 

Been for the last 5 years both BW and BTFest. Both are great and I love going to see the people and the bikes. Same old stuff to buy but occasionally you will find a good buy. There are things there that you can not find anywhere else. Hotels are high but camping in cheap. Iron Horse and Cabbage Patch are a must do. Go and have a great time I do.
