yes, Amsoil's own marketing and advertising test results are impressive..I just have always used regular HD oil with great results over 15 years but my engines only had Two *****

Is Amsoil a "good" oil? Sure! Is it as "good" as they claim? Nah.

My personal experience with amsoil is a bad one , I decided to try amsoil in my sled back around 2008. Well I had to shut down twice in a single day because of an overheating issue (same riding
conditions as the previous day ), which I had NEVER experienced before. I drained out the oil that night and gave away my reserves , way too much coincidence to be ignored
...never again will I fall for thier b.s. marketing spew..

Just read the rating of the oil you want to use, its on the can, If any oil you are using is better than all the rest it would have a higher rating!! Believe me if their oil was better they would pay for the research to prove it!! Is one oil better than all the rest?? prolly but I doubt it is significant enough to really mean anything. Extending oil change intervals might work but any sludge build up in your block will create hot spots. That crap usually accumulates in corners and around ridges.
