Default Bypassing oil cooling on heads

hey guys i have a RK police bike with an oil cooled 107. i have the fan cooled oil cooler but i am having an issue where i am leaking oil from the area on the front cylinder head by the oil crossover lines where oil comes in and out of the head. the bike will be in the shop soon but for now can i temporarily bypass the heads and run them only "air" cooled? its not puking oil but its enough to spray my left pant leg and soak it with oil

you "can", but sounds like a bad idea..being that config is designed to cool the hottest part of the engine

I think the real answer here is "you could, but probably not without consequences." If you want to risk damaging the oil cooled parts in that head, we won't stop you. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Instead of trying to jury rig the cooling system, put the time and effort into replacing the o rings.

It is a straightforward job, just nuts, bolts, and a little time.

The work it would take to 'bypass" the loop would be more extensive than replacing those o-rings. Just fix it, it really isn't that bad.
