Ok went in for a 1,000 service. Sent in 5 Qts of Amsoil 20 w 50 and 2 Quarts of Redline (yes I know this is too much but wanted to have a quart of each after the service).

When I went to pick up the bike I got 2 Quarts of Amsoil and 1 Quart of Redline.

Did they miss something on the service? Oil change 3 Qts---Primary 1 Qt. and Transmission 1 Qt. What do you think they forgot? I really don't know.

Any serious thoughts?

Also; the invoice lists (and this is the total items on the invoice):

Gasket Service Kit
Oil Filter Black Superior
Brake Clean
Grease, Special Purpose

There are a lot more items listed to be serviced at the 1,000 mile check up. Am I being too ****? Shouldn't the invoice list all they have done?

 

It should be 38 oz For primary that is text book many put in a little less.
Engine would be 3-3 1/2 quarts
Trans is 32 oz how ever new SB says put in 27 OZ check top off to max 32OZ
So your fine on the Redline
I would have a talk with service manager. The 20/50 for the engine and Primary just does not add up.
There is a chance they may have put HD F+ in primary but they would have billed you for that.
As for the rest of it most just checks a 1000 mile only real big thing is the oil and lube changes.
