So I just got my '22 Pan America Special. Coming from a CVO Road Glide so having to adjust!

I have a HJC helmet with integrated headset and mic. I paired in with bike and audio at full volume is really low. Using an iPhone 13 with volume all the way up.

Any one have advise?

 

Have you turned the volume up on the bike itself while your music is playing?

 

I am using an iPhone 3 Pro Max. No volume issue at all. I have my head set on phone volume set to max. Then control the volume from the hight side control by the grip. 6 is loud enough around town and 10 at 75 mph. When pressing volume up or down it will show on the display screen

 

Which headset/speakers do you have?

 

Pair the phone to the bike (Instrument_Phone), select device type on the phone as Car Stereo, and pair it as a phone to the bike. Pair the helmet or headset to the bike as well but as a bluetooth device. I have a Sena 20S and an iPhone 12, volume works very well with the above settings. I also am using these plugged into the Sena:
Works well and volume controllable with right grip controller on the bike, normally set at 9 or 10, 12 or 13 at high speed on the slab.

 

I had no idea these existed. Freaking buying them tonight

 

Something to be prepared for, whenever your phone receives a message the music will stop momentarily and then restart, it threw me a bit at first until I saw that the pause coincided with a message being received.
