I am able to enter my security PIN after re-installing the previous version. You might want to try pulling your fuse or disconnecting the battery.

 

I too tried to update to the latest version this morning. I also ended up with the U040000C code after the update. So I reverted to the previous version and all is clear.

Sure would be nice if I could read the BCM version number. Or even version #s for all modules.

wondering if anyone kept driving with that code and it eventually goes away.

Still in there since I've upgrade it, I'll check with the dealer to see if they got latest BCM version else I'll ask for a downgrade but may I'll live with it.
