New code popped up

From what I can tell that code = Invalid data received
Did you update to the latest infotainment release? I have seen other posts that indicated that code after they applied the latest infotainment release that is available from HD.

The release notes indicate "Requires BCM software 13.40 or newer". As far as I know only a dealer could tell you the version of BCM software that is on your bike.
One of the updates in the latest infotainment release is the ability to see EHCU faults (which was removed in the previous version).

Weird, I updated to the latest version this afternoon and I'm getting the same code now. Didn't have it before. I can now delete codes, but this one comes back in a few seconds. So far, doesn't seem to cause any issues, but I haven't ridden it yet.
I need to stop by the dealer again as I requested that they load the latest SW (BCM/ECM) from the Digital Tech when I had the recalls done to increase the hill hold time from 10 seconds to several minutes - still only holds for 10 seconds.

For those of you that updated to Infotainment s/w version 5.13552.202205165, something you might want to check.......
I just did the update on my 2021 PAS and one of the things that I noticed is I can no longer enter my security code (i.e. in the event the FOB battery dies). The screen flashes up but does not allow me to enter anything, then goes blank. Fortunately, someone on the PA Facebook page posted the previous version of the infotainment s/w (5.12882.20211217). I was able to download and apply that version to my bike. I can now enter my security code. Back to not being able to see/clear EHCU faults but being able to enter the security code is more important to me.

Sorry I just noticed a cut & paste issue with the infotainment s/w versions above.
Latest version = 5.1355.2.2022.0516
Previous version = 5.1288.2.20211217
After applying version 5.1288.2.20211217 the system rebooted and came up in a ride mode fault. I cleared the BCM & ECM faults and turned the bike off. When I turned it back on the ride mode fault was cleared. I guess there is no guarantee you will have the same experience. :-)

I reloaded the older version which got rid of the fault indicator and U040000C code. Still having the same issue with the Pin entry screen. Can't enter code, screen goes blank. Have you checked yours with the older code? Back to not being able to see or clear the ECHU faults. I can view/clear faults.
