1962 Speedo ratio?

I need to know, is a 1962 HD speedometer ran off of the trans? and also what ratio would a 1962 HD speedo be!!! Thank you very much!!

Runs off the tranny and Stock was a 2:1

thanks man.....My trans is a 1945 so I think it needs to be a 1:1, right?
