I want to cover up two inch scrape on gas tank with a decal. Any advice on prepping spot without pulling tank? Thanks in advance.

 

Make sure the scratch is smoothed down so it won't show through the decals. Clean the area you're going to place the decals with a wax and grease remover. Put your decals on.
