2007 RK Classic Clutch missing Damper Spring Seat ???
Tran. main bearing went, probably due to over-tightening by auto primary chain tensioner, had to change trans. shaft bearings, inner primary case bear, etc.. Now I find the clutch hub splines are damaged.
On taking the stock clutch apart (never been apart) the last piece to come out was the Damper Spring. No Damper Spring Seat in the clutch hub.
I understand the SE Clutches don't us the Damper Spring and Seat but this is stock. There seems to be a bead cast in the hub where the Damper Spring Seat would go and it wouldn't sit flat in the hub (if one was installed) as the Service Manual cross-section shows.
Has anyone seen or heard of this???????????
