Default Squealing drive belt at rear sprocket

Anyone had a drive belt that squeals at the rear sprocket? I added chrome wheels and sprocket. Then developed a squeal. Chrome was peeling on sprocket at the outside vertical lip on the inside lip where belt rubs against it. Changed sprocket and belt. Didn't help. I lightly sanded off the peeling chrome and Amy ruff parts. Squeal stopped for 3000+- miles. Now it back. But there are no ruff spots on the sprocket? Any ideas how to get rid of the squeal?

Did you double check the alignment?

It happened to me after I had my belt and pulleys replaced at 85,000 miles. Turned out the H-D rear pulley was machined wrong and ran slightly off center. The dealer replaced the pulley and the squealing disappeared.
