Default Rear pulley condition?

How bad is bad? My rear pulley has several nicks in it. What's reasonable condition of a pulley?
Here's a couple photos of my rear pulley. There are about 15 dings like this around the pulley.

Default belt check

Check your belt for damage. If none you should be ok. What's more important is the fit of the belt to the sprocket. I had 60k on mine with no premature belt wear. Could've gone further but I wanted a narrower belt system to fit a wider tire.

Thanks. My belt broke last week. Might have picked up a rock or something. The belt looks fine except for where it broke.
I just want to be sure the belt is all that needs replacing.

Yes , you definately picked up a rock or something and it took out your belt and did the nicks in the sprocket .
If you decide not to replace the sprocket you should dress the nicks with a file to assure they have no sharp edges to tear up your new belt .

The front pulley is iron or steel and wears very little, however the rear one is alloy and prone to wear and damage, as you can see. I would be inclined to install a new pulley and belt, myself.
