Transmission issue , causing vibration ?
For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to find an evil vibration that just started . I've done some work on the bike to help narrow down my issue . Today I replaced the isolator in the the rear wheel , took it out for a spin and when I returned from my ride I could hear some knocking that sounds like it's coming from the top of the tranny . It's not a steady knock , more like an intermittent knock that comes and goes .
My question is , could there be something going on in tranny that could cause a bad vibration and noticeable knocking even though I can shift it normally ?
I just had my compensator replaced last week with a new SE Comp , had everything on the primary side inspected and was told everything looks good .
The bike is a 2010 Road King , stage 1 .
