Have a 2010 street glide if ya pull clutch lever all the way in while riding it will engage the starter . Can put in gear and pull clutch and it will start by itself. And ideas what I need to change

Clutch safety switch?

 

Where is this located

 

The starter button..

 

Seems like the starter button is “on” all of the time and when you pull the clutch it engages the clutch safety switch so the starter engages. Have you recently had the handlebar controls apart?

 

Unplug the starter relay, read the voltage at the Black/Red wire in the connector (where pin 85 goes), it should be zero when not pressing the start button, and it should read system voltage when button is pressed.

If it reads voltage all the time, the start switch is stuck closed.
