Anyone toured the U.S. Space & RocketCenter in Huntsville, AL? Looking at heading that way and wondering if it is worth a stop. Any comments or recommendations would be appreciated. If it is a good tour, how much time are we talking about for the tour?


Then heading up to Lynchburg to tour Jack Daniels, then Nashville and the Natchez Trace. Any recommendations for which tour to take at JD?

 

We went to the Jack Daniels distillery on 9/23/17 and they are doing maintenance so you can't go into the areas under construction.It was still a good tour though.

 

Yeah, lot of memories of the glory days of the space program Mercury - Space Shuttle.

If you grew up in the 60's around here, you used to hear those big Saturn V engines going off every now and then. They would rattle our windows and we were 30 miles away.

 

The Rocket Center is cool with lots of things to see. I lived in Huntsville for 30+ years and would recommend it to everyone.

A few hours most likely. You have to watch whatever is playing at the IMax there too.

I don't like the dealership and I don't like how they treated my Legion brother. I will continue to go to TN.
