Buddy of mine likes the caboose rental just north of eureka. 100% isolated only gravel is the drive. Deck with hot tub! No tv. No Internet.

Thanks for your reply Talked to the owner. She said , no turn around in driveway. Next time you talk to your friend, maybe you can ask him the length of the driveway and the difficulty in backing a trailer up to the caboose. Thanks

I talked to the guy that stayed there. he pulled in with his bike and trailer. Unhooked the trailer and moved it around. he said the driveway was pretty flat, but if you were trying to back in from the road, that part is kind of steep. Not sure if that is exactly what you were needing to know? if I can be any more help let me know.

Only time I've been in the area it was mid-May. The weather could not have been more beautiful.

Not to hijack the thread, but my buddies and I are thinking of going there in early August. What's it like then?

already been hijacked, TK

Early August is a toss up, sometimes in the 100 degree nasty days. Sometimes not quite that hot and some breaks at night. Often find pop up thunderstorms.
If you don't mind the heat, come on

We're 1/4 mile from MO in Bella Vista. Ridge running and the prairie areas around the edges are sweet. Maybe avoid the higher pop. areas other than passing through them. The traffic going through the cities is "Arkansas fast" or something like that. The small towns and stops and state parks are great Americana. Branson is close by.
