If you like wide open space, check out hwy 200 in Minnesota and North Dakota if it fits your route. Be ready for 2 finger waves from the top of steering wheels.

Minnesota - Park Rapids, Itasca state Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River, walk down the trail, depending on water level you can walk on rocks across the river about 10 ft or so.

North Dakota - Cooperstown, Ronald Reagan missle site, about an hour long tour of the command center.

20 miles west of green bay on hwy 29 is doc's HD. it's a must see dealership. FREE zoo and motorcycle/car museum. restaurant too. he feeds the alligators sat. morning at 10 am...i think...it's 10 am. antique store too. lambeau field in GB is pretty cool. every time i drive past it i think to myself, "wtf is something like that doing in GB?" we're lucky to have it. GB population is about 100,000, lambeau holds over 80.000.

I also have to pick up North Dakota to complete the lower 48, along with about 18 more states. ND, Washington state, and Oregon are the only states west of the Mississippi river I need to pick up. Up until the end of 2016, I had never been further west than the western side of southern MO and Northwest Arkansas other than airports in LA, Anchorage and Hawaii. I also lived in Orange, VA in the late 80's early '90s. I figure I'll eventually do a trip to Glacier National park and make sure to pick up my three straggler western states when I do that trip. I also wouldn't mind doing an Alaska trip but figure I will have to do that when I can have at least probably 3 weeks off or more at once and not sure that will happen before retirement.

Coming out of London to Michigan use the Blue Water Bridge ( Port Huron ) and go across I-69 to Lansing ... Quicker, safer and smoother

You may as well hit the Harley museum in Milwaukee if you have not been,
and have the time. Lots of cool stuff to see when we were there. The snack bar was expensive but pretty good.
