There was a big boulder came down from the mountain and rested in the middle of hwy145 causing road closure. Anyone with the update on hwy145? I will be on that hwy next month.

I was on that highway three weeks ago and it was open. They were working on it in the area and had one way traffic there but no problem.

 

We rode by it a month or so ago. Big fricking rock, but, they had it on the side of the road somehow. No worries.

 

There were two main boulders that came down. The big one that remains along the side is where it landed when it came down. And there are no plans to do anything with it. The one that was on the road was blown to smithereens and hauled off.

The road is open, but under repair.

Just follow CoTrip.org. 145 is open but the weather is very dynamic. I 70 and 133 were closed again last night due to mud slides.
