We're thinking about shipping our Ultra to Portland or somewhere around there and riding home to So. Cal. - 8 or 9 days in early June.
I haven't done a ton of research yet but I was thinking about riding the Columbia River area, heading south to Crater Lake, Medford-Ashland area where I lived for a while & still have friends. Then criss-crossing No. Cal. between the coast and Tahoe.
I know No. Cal. fairly well but I'm not sure about Northern Oregon. Would it still be too cold around Crater Lake then?
What areas should I not miss up there?
