I am curious if anyone has taken the trip up to Yellowknife, NT? I have read in some places that the roads may not be paved the whole way. I'd be leaving from western nebraska. If anyone has taken the trip or heard of friends taken the trip i would appreciate a little feedback on if the trips really worth the drive. Also curious about gas stations and such on the way once ya get way up north?

Drove up in a car couple years ago. Not great paved roads as you get closer to yellowknife but can be done on a bike. Also, not too many towns as you get closer to yellowknife so we brought a jug of gas in the car but never had to use it. Car had 55 litre tank. Couple cool waterfall stops on the way up once you get into nwt that are worth stopping to check out.
