I am curious if anyone has taken the trip up to Yellowknife, NT? I have read in some places that the roads may not be paved the whole way. I'd be leaving from western nebraska. If anyone has taken the trip or heard of friends taken the trip i would appreciate a little feedback on if the trips really worth the drive. Also curious about gas stations and such on the way once ya get way up north?

That would kinda be up to my old man. He's been wanting to make this trip for as long as i can remember. I'm guessing June or July, any thoughts on the warmest months up north?
