Buffalo Chip 2011
I'm going to Sturgis this summer and staying at Buffalo Chip. What are the must do things while at Sturgis.
We are going from BC and through Yellow Stone. Any suggestions on the best route through Yellow Stone is?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seriously, meet some new people, and go RIDE. You'll have plenty of places to check out (use the SEARCH function here...literally thousands of postings over the years for roads to ride, places to see, and tips to make your experience more enjoyable).
Take a good attitude, ignore the idiots, and you'll have a blast.
Tall Rider 08, I stayed at the Buffalo Chip last year and had a great time. We were in tents and rented one of the private porta potties. Sounds funny, until you see the ones for all the other campers!!!!!! It's cleaned every day, and has a lock that only YOU have the key for!!!!! You will be assigned a camp site with the porta potty located just 5 feet away. It was $200 for the week and worth every penny!!!!
I've been invited to stay at a house this year, but if I were staying at the chip you can bet that I would have a private ******* again!!!! Another cool thing about it is that the camping spots are just off the main enterence, so other than a little dust, it was very quite at night. Sleping was NOT a problem.
If a band that you really like is performing at the chip, do yourself a favor and buy the VIP pass. We had VIP tickets for Kid Rock. All I can say is UNREAL!!!!!!!
There is soooooooooo much to do that you will not be able to do everything you plan on doing, which is ok. It's a reason to go back. Enjoy the rides and everything that Sturgis has to offer.

Are you coming from Germany? That's where my dad is from and I still speak a bit.
I find that interesting because I spent 10 days in Germany and I found several of my friends there that could multi task, they could ride and also speak English at the same time. I am glad that my gf from Germany has an Oregon plate on her bike, it might make things a little easier for her when she gets here.

Yes you are lucky. Maybe I should put a German plate on my bike to see if it will help me speak German better when we get tired of speaking English to each other, what do you think?
For some reason I thought they all $200+ (Def Leopard...) Just for the heck of it I just checked again, most of the evenings are only $50 - $60 pp. I would gladly pay $20 for 4 hours of free beer during the concert, I would also be happy with $20 for hors dourves, I guess another $20 for a seat on stage right is worth it too...
I will talking to Momma about this when i get home tonight. I see several VIP nights in our future!
Yes I'm coming from Germany. Where is your dad from?
