Leaving tomorrow from nyc on a two week trip. No set plan but want to hit mt. Rushmore and Hoover dam. We want to trailer our two bikes and pick a central location we can call base. Maybe someplace to pitch a tent and leave the truck and trailer. Not necessarily returning every night. anyone have a suggestion what areas or places to stay?

 

Wow Mt Rushmore to Hoover dam, central place would be SW Wyoming or NE Utah... thats a lot of area. My personal favorite is Cody, you could hit all those areas from there and see a lot of country as well.
