Hey,
So we are heading to Washington in a couple of days from Alberta, Canada and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on roads we need to do. We are planning to take the Northern Cascade Highway and then tour the Olympic Park Peninsula. We have rented a cabin south of Bremerton and are planning to use that as a home base for a couple days. Any input would be great!
WA 20 across the Cascades is great but I also recommend that you start on it from eastern WA. I would enter the States at US/CN 95 (Idaho) or a bit further west at WA36. WA20 across the state is a great ride. It hooks up with US97 (south-bound) for a short while before continuing west across the Cascades.
