I have the Rockford Fosgate Bluetooth Reciever & Amp system on my bike. When I start the bike, it gives an extremely loud chirp or series of a couple chirps.

Anyone know how to control this? Lower its volume or disable it?

My dealer mechanic almost dropped the bike when it surprised him!

Hello. We assume that is a Road King installation? If so, that is the confirmation chime when the phone pairs to the Bluetooth receiver. Unfortunately it cannot be bypassed, turning the input level down on the amp would help but then you would lose some output.

 

Thanks for replying. Yes, it’s on a Road King. That seems like an over site. Is there any workaround? It’s simply not safe.
