'17 Street Glide CVO 114 Thoughts....Performance
The stock cam just sucks for power all around. A cam swap is very easy and if you are planning to void warranty I would spend the extra 2 hours and do it. The woods 222 makes great torque and carries it all the way through.
On initial testing I dropped over 2 seconds 0-100 12.9 vs 10.6
You could go with a larger cam that would work better with a high comp 117 but the 114 will suffer on the low end.

Not everyone wants a horrible handling bike
I thought that as well and bought one and rode it 100 miles and sold it.
There is such a thing as tastefully upgrading and not ruining a bike. My bike now is how they should have delivered it.

Was it Dyno'd? What kind of numbers are you running now. I have a CVO SG with Fullsac cores as well. Thinking of doing the Fuel Moto head pipe and woods cams as well.
Mine dyno'd 116 hp with 126 tq with FM headpipe, Hi Roller slipons, woods 222 cam ... tuned with the DJ Power Vision by Jamie at Fuel Moto. The bike rocks. Just twist the throttle in any gear and you have power. I ride 2 up most the time. Getting on the interstate isn't a challenge anymore, in fact it's fun. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks Hammerhead. I'm about a fourteen hour ride from Fuel Moto, did he do the job in a half of a day or did it take longer? Just trying to figure out if I need an extra night in the hotel there or if I can get a half day of riding towards home on the same day if he gets it in the shop first thing in the morning.
As for hotels, Fuel Moto customers get a discount down the street at the Country Inn & Suites. It's a very nice hotel. Just have to call the front desk to make your reservation and mention your having work done at Fuel Moto.
I'd give Fuel Moto a call. They are super easy/great to work with. I would think for a cam and tune, you'd drop it off one day and pick it up the next. My case was different. I trailered there during the winter so I left the bike/trailer with them and checked out the area for 3 days. That was my choice since I was driving so far...

Hopefully you didn't tell her the CVO has the most powerful engine available when trying to sell her on buying a CVO lol. Or use the "I won't have to do anything to this bike because it already has everything" pitch either. Me, I am screwed because I used both haha.
No, I didn't have to use any of those lines, lol. I just bought her a new SGS of her own. I'll have to figure out something she really wants and do a tit for tat sort of deal, lol.
