It does... The dealer called me about my inquiry. I won't be buying it, they won't come down off their inflated outrageous price. Maybe some other sucker will buy it.
Two things.....
1. That dealership IS crazy. I went to look at a bike there once hoping to negotiate a deal and their idea of a deal was a few hundred off the price.
2. I bought this same bike, same color over the winter with 3800 miles on it for my second, around town bike and it's a beast. Before you make arrangements with Fuel Moto which is a great company, ride it as is. It's a lot of engine on a smallish bike. ( compared to a bagger )
Shop around. They made this model for three years. The 2007 had the skinnier tires front and rear. In 2008 they got a wider front tire and in 2009 it got the fat back wheel & tire. Some other changes through the years, but you can find them near 10k depending how many miles you are willing to accept.
Enjoy the ride.

Yep, that is all they were talking about reducing the price was a couple hundred. I'm $5k below their asking. I'll keep looking.
Yep the '09 is definitely the one I'd get. Ya, I brought up the price of their '18 CVO (Same as mine) as well and told them that is almost MSRP. Their only response was someone will pay it. I said, it's been on your showroom floor since I bought mine last year. They didn't care.
Good advice on making sure it's not good as is before getting the motor built.
Most people have to finance, good luck finding a bank that will finance the extra 5/6k over book value. On a 13 year old bike, it’s just numbers to banks, no but it’s a really cool color going to sway them.

I'm back looking at it again this AM. I'm going to find one. I just have to have one.
Posted a WTB thread in the classifieds section. Not seeing anything around my area except for the one at Fuel which ain't happening.
If any of you guys know something reasonable, I may consider shipping it. My last experience wasn't so good, so it would have to be a good deal. Or Fly and Ride depending on how far.

To expensive for you guys (and definitly me...) as you been around the track for a long time and knows your $hit too well to be fooled.
But for a newbee/tenderfoot it might not raise an eyebrow or two.
I wonder if they would pay good money for a trade in?
That could be an option if one have a bike and willing to trade and pay the difference.
That beeing said it's possible one could loose out when wanting to sell in the future.
But again, it's really a threat for sore eyes to look at!
I 100% get why you guys even bother to discuss an "old bike" like that with such a crazy price tag.
It's just stunning! 😍
They are not paying well on trade-ins.
One of our guys has the 2018 CVO Ultra with approx. 30k miles, he's had 3 different dealers offer him 25-27k.
Needless to say, He walked away.
