Some people have it in their mind what it's worth to sell or keep. I have a 00 FXR4 Scream'n Eagle (pre CVO name) in Orange. 316 made and I've seen at least 10 of them parted out or the factory tins painted. 32 went to Canada. It is more than people want to pay but I wouldn't let mine go for less than $14k. FXR owners think the price is stupid and maybe they're right, but it's mine. I bought mine from my good friend who bought it new and have all of the stock parts. I just had a set of tins painted for it and packed the originals away.

I've always loved the CVO Springers except that ugly gold color they had. I'd pay $15k for one if I was in the market. That was a time when people bought Harleys because it was cool but they never rode them so most have low miles.

I almost like the Bad Boy better than the CVO Springer. Most of those I've seen the owners are asking about $10k.

I'm currently looking a couple of different older CVO models.

Dang... Finally found a great deal on the '09 CVO Springer I've been looking for. It's way out at a dealer in the PNW though. To far away to fly & drive. I'd consider shipping, but as many of you know after my last experience shipping my last CVO... I'm so hesitant to do it again. ... Dang I hate to let this one get away though.

Did you ever end up pulling the trigger? I see its been a while since you posted about it. I'm thinking about letting go of mine since I don't get to ride it much these days.

I'd love to get my hands on that springer, but no way I'm paying 5-7k over the value to get it.
i remember drooling on one in '09 and it seems the msrp then was 30-ish. 16 yrs of inflation meands what 35k now, but nobody will pay 35k for a 09 bike- will they?
if i had lottery money, id pay it for a blue one.
