Default Oil problem

2017 Street Glide Cvo

Have an issue with losing some oil and the Oil Light coming on. Fill oil up to correct level and after riding about a week later the light comes on and oil is low again. What could it be?

You broke something. Do and old fashion compression test on a hot engine with throttle butterfly held wide open.

One quart low is not going to cause low oil pressure.

Do you see signs of oil on motor or under the bike or dripping?

How are you checking level? Warm motor after being shut off 5 minutes or so and like it says on dip stick.

How many miles between losing a quart if no signs of visible leaks?

how many miles on the bike and how long have you owned it?
is this a recent development or developing over an xxx period of time?
the oil pressure light could be a faulty sensor

25,000 miles. This is a new problem. Oil check when warm about 5 minutes after shutdown. No oil on engine or floor.
200 miles between checks.

so all of a sudden it's consuming ~ 1 qt every 200 miles? and no indication of oil externally visible anywhere? and it doesn't smoke like a chimney? this is really a mystery to me then, with only 25000 miles seems unprecedented to burn that much oil with no tell tale signs....tear that **** apart and rebuild the whole damn thing carefully!!!
