Default 2022 CVO RG

I have not been able to find a mustang seat to fit my 2022 CVO Roadglide. Has anyone had similar issues?

I didn't look at Mustang, but went with Corbin on my 2022 CVO Roadglide Limited. I also had the Corbin on my 2020 CVO Limited.

I run a heated hammock on mine. It’s great!

I have the Mustang Super Wide Touring (heated) on mine and we really enjoy it. 13,000 miles this Summer w no issues.

Mustang makes a ton of seats for your bike. The Summit touring is amazing! You just have to remove the 2 rubber strips on the fender under the stock passenger pillion.

You mean, like they don't make one, or you can't find one in stock?

There are many other manufacturers of great seats to look at, just sayin'

Also, don't overthink the CVO part of your search, look for Road Glide, or Harley Touring, etc. while searching.

Head over to the Touring subforum, do a search for seats, and you can read from now until next Memorial Day
Good luck!

I had a Mustang Wide Tripper Solo with rider backrest and matching passenger pillion on my 2020 RGL. When I bought my ‘22 CVO RG Blue Steel the seat would not fit. The front of the seat was too long for the length of the tank console. I thought I was doing something wrong and called Mustang, they confirmed the seat would not fit my CVO. Weird thing is I had different style Mustang seat on my ‘19 CVO RG Mako and it fit with no issues.
Also there is a difference in the tank console of the CVO RGL and CVO RG. The CVO RGL has a slightly shorter tank console that will allow for the extra length of the front of the seat.
Check with George at BadBoyz seats or as mentioned there are other manufacturers that make seats for your bike.

I have 52K miles on my 2012 CVO Ultra (orange and black) and have been strongly considering a 2022 CVO RG Limited.
I have ridden a frame-mounted fairing HD and do feel they handle better than the bat wing. My bike has many performance upgrades, runs and handles great.
Would the 2022 be an improvement or a disappointment?

Ive owned a 2005 cvo electraglide, a 2007 cvo roadking, a 2010 cvo streetglide, a 2013 cvo roadglide, a 2016 cvo streetglide, a 2017 cvo limitied, a 2021 cvo limited and now currently ride a 2022 cvo roadglide limited. Each of those bikes were ridden from a low of 10k miles to 40k miles on the 2013. My 2022 cvo is the best cvo I've owned. The only changes I've had to make on it is KW mufflers and a heated hammock seat as well as rotating the bars up by about 2 inches. Its nimble, super comfortable and quick enough where I dont feel the need for motor mods (ofcourse winter is coming lol). It will be a huge upgrade from the 2012 cvo. If you have specific questions, Im happy to answer them.
