CVO 121 VVT Cam Upgrade
I'm interested in putting a bigger cam in my 121 VVT but I can't seem to get answers from the stealership.
For you VVT guys, what cams and tuners are you guys running, did the dealership do your install?
I've asked 2 separate dealerships who weren't even interested in talking to me about it. Yes, I understand it would flag my warranty, and yes I understand I would need a non-HD tuner. Questions that the dealers didn't want to answer were;
Does/will HD make a Torque (or power) cam that will work with VVT and warranty?
Does/has your dealership install(ed) and tune(d) aftermarket VVT cams?
Is it possible to remove the VVT system (like the ST models) and tune for it?
To me it seems that since the ST has the same engine other than the cam chest, that the VVT bikes would be simple to revert to non VVT. There are several companies that make cams for the VVT bikes (Wood, CycleRama, Daniel Crower, etc), but it seems that the videos I've seen aren't of HD dealership mechanics. I don't mind going to a non HD shop, there's just none anywhere close to me.

Yeah, I've seen them. My issue is finding an installer. I'd attempt it myself but there's only a few videos out there on it that aren't very detailed. Plus, it looks like some specialized tools are needed.
Google dynotuning in Valdosta. I saw at least 3 shops that do the kind of work you want done.

I never thought to google my own town. I've lived here for a total of 10 years, and I've never heard of those 2 shops.
