Well I joined the club today...the dealer had one in black diamond and crimson. Did all the paperwork and picking it up tomorrow. Got a good deal on it...traded my 09 Ultra in and got a really nice trade-in price (18k with 19000 miles on it). Also going to have them put on a D&D set-up...2 in 1 headers and pipes. Didn't want to do the silly ghost pipe but since HD has now got the saddle bags rounded out on the bottom, the thing would look a bit weird with only one pipe out the back.

Will get some pictures up once the new headers and exhaust arrive and I get them installed. Best of all they sold it for MSRP.

Guess I will have to change my signature page tomorrow!

Congratulations on your new ride, it sounds like you got treated real good . When I was the dealership picking up my new bike they were delivering the black CVO, I had only ever seen it in pictures, In daylight it was a stunning color combination and a fine looking bike.

My dealer had been trying to locate an Inferno Orange SESG. They found a couple but could not trade for one. So last weekend they told me that it would be later this year before they had a chance to get one. I work in Wichita a week or two every month so last Tuesday I decided to give the local Wichita HD dealer a call. I was shocked to find they had just received an Inferno Orange the week before ! So the next two questions were 1) How much ? (MSRP+freight) and 2) Would they sell to an out-of-towner? (they said yes). So I immediately went over and put a deposit down. Got home Thursday night from the conference and then left for Wichita with my 07 SERK in tow Friday. 14 hours later we arrived in Wichita. We went to the dealer Saturday morning, unloaded the SERK, and finished up the paperwork in about 20 minutes. They helped me load the FLHXSE2 up in the trailer and we drove 14 hours to get back home. VERY long two days but well worth it! The HD dealer in Wichita was great. Very painless. Now the fun begins (again). Pipes, lights, chrome, etc.....

Congrats, I wonder if that's the record for distance travelled for a cvo lol, was thinking about the pipes and was going to put on the true ovals but when the dealer put one on the bike the concensus was that the slipons might to be big for the cut out in the rear of the bags and the heat might be a problem. The bike I traded had rineharts which i really liked the sound of, but they looked to small due to the cut out size. The stock pipes look great so I'm going to play with the baffles it will keep the original look .

Fullsac performance makes baffles to go in the stock mufflers. Give Steve a call--he is very knowledgeable and helpful. I know many people who have used his baffles, headpipe, TTS mastertune and his tuning maps with great results. I happen to be one of them.

www.fullsac.com

Seems to be a problem with his site right now....try later tonight or tomorrow.
