My local dealer was unable to help me so I called H.D. and they gave me some great customer service and provided me with the nearest dealer that had the bike I wanted a 2011 cvo street glide in black/inferno orange.I called a dealer that has one and the salesman told me it was 36,900, "I said no I dont mean the Ultra I want a street glide it is $32,495 retail ++."The salesman said correct but at $36,900 it was a gift and those dealers in Daytona are asking more", I explained in vain that I was ready to buy but the salesman told me "that's the price and the boss is firm on it". It was bad enough thinking i would have to pay full retail but retail plus 4 grand is insanity. So to those that already bought enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling

Thanks for your reply, Getting the bike at this first release stage is a huge bonus getting a discount is the cherry on the sundae. It's crazy out there I called 4 dealers who according to H.D had them but all were sold, found one dealer in Michigan who had the bike but only wanted to sell it locally, found another who had one in stock but wrong color, Your saying 150 miles I'm talking 1500 miles from home. The street glide cvo must be pretty special coz reccesion or not demand sure out ways supply. Go Figure. P.S. How about some pic's. Thanks.
Right outside the dealer....and before anybody asks I removed the backrest for the ride home. That seems to be the first thing people catch in the picture and ask why i didn't get one!

They need to leave off a few things so you can buy them separately....

lol
I was wondering how comfortable the new CVO seat is because the regular 2011 street glide has a redesigned seat that is really comfortable, I have ridden it for about 500 miles and was amazed I mentioned to the dealer and he told me the new stock seat has a gel pack in it .
I only have 350 miles on it but so far it feels pretty good. I was out for a while yesterday, but that was with breaks. I need a good non-stop (except for gas) 5+ hour ride to tell if the seat will work for me.
