Default Picking up my first CVO on Monday

Damn banks (except GEK and They wanted 11% on 48 months) were closed today but the deal is done and financing is approved.
here's the deal.

Bike is at a Metric dealer.
2011 FLTRUSE with 1159 miles (guy must not have ridden much)
Has all the standard goodies plus some pipes (more on that in a minute), a power commander module and the HD garage door opener (I'll have to figure that one out.
A buddy recently bought one while in FL and paid mid 30's for his. I started looking for them online and all seemed to be 32k and up. Sticker on this one was $30k. Sounded like a deal to me. I was on the HD Build Your Bike website and a new RGU(non CVO) with the goodies was pushing 28k. I figured for 2k more, what the hell.

About these pipes. Or should I say pipe. I was told by the salesman (take that for what it's worth) that the guy that traded in the bike said they are D&D or something like that. I should have the paperwork for that when I take delivery. The left side of the bike has a dummy pipe that comes from under the bike and back under the bag to look like duals. Anyone every heard of these before?
Sorry for the rambling, I'm just a little excited right now.
I'm trading in my 02 Ultra that has just over 30K on the clock. They're giving me 8500 for it and I think I could get 10 if I sold it outright but then again any of these CVOs I've seen online were 32k and up so I can eat a little on my trade. With the bike sitting at a metric dealer, HD financing won't deal with them so I'm waiting until Monday to deal with their normal bank.
Here's a pix of it.

I'm not going to get into the "how much you paid" thing. It's all relative, and there will always be people saying that you're either paying too much, or what a great deal you got. The bottom line is how YOU feel about the deal that you got, that's all that matters. That finance rate is ****ing unbelievable though!!! Way high!!! As for your pipe, they do make several two-into-ones that have a "ghost pipe". It's non-functional, and just there to give the bike a more balanced look from the back. Hope you enjoy your ride, and hope you find a better interest rate, because 11% is just nuts!

You got a good deal on the trade and keep the sales tax benefit so really you can say your trade was worth $9k.

If they had to find you a lender and 11% is the best you could "qualify" for they you must have bruised credit or they made a killing on the financing they signed you up for.....ask to see the Bank's Approval sheet it has to be in your file. There something called the "buy rate" or "qualified rate" that the Bank will send the Finance Manager and they can legally bump it up several points. If you allow it they make extra (figure $1500 - $2000) on the backside of the deal, but over time you'll pay thousands more in interest they you would/should have. Nice Dealer huh!

If you refuse to pick up the bike in Ohio they must cancel the deal.....so don't ride it out of the parking lot without challenging them on the interst rate. Once you go out the door with the keys & plate, you ride 1" and its yours and you lose all recourse.

Always best to find your own funds outside of a dealers showroom.

Also I'd ask to see the SWR before buying used, this is the Service & Warranty Record. It will show everything every been done to the bike at a dealer including if its ever been wrecked.

Where have I seen one of those before. Oh yeah in my garage. You got a great price with what appears to have a Stage l upgrade already. Your financing rate sucks. Wish I knew you, would give you a loan at 10%

I bought mine new last September for around $36K, not sure of exact price since I traded two other Harleys and a check for mine. I got about $44K in mine now with my mods.

BTW it's FLTRUSE.

Best of luck, ride safe.

Thanks for the correction on the model. Eyeballs got fuzzy looking at it.

About that financing, They have a company that will give me that rate but are waiting until Monday to shop around their normal bank. I didn't sign that agreement (and I won't), The dealer is just saying that I'm preapproved so to speak by using that bank for a reference. If that bank will offer that rate, their normal bank will beat it by a lot. If I don't like that offer, I'll take a loan on my 401k and pay myself the interest back.

I should also add that the bike is at a metric dealer and HD Financing won't deal with them even for used HD's

****, I could get that rate on an unsecured personal note, and still be less than 11%!

Did Eaglemark Bank tell you this? Or did the metric dealer?
I'd stop by your local Harley dealer and ask about the "dealer assist" program which is where the HD delaer submits the loan on your behalf, I'd also ask them to run the SWR while there. Where you come up the funds is purely your choice.

Also try a local credit union or two as they are usually a pretty good option.

Good luck with closing the deal you made a great choice for a new bike.

Ask them if they have all the CVO accessories such as CVO gold key,CVO cover, Ipod Nano should be in the right saddlebag lid, head sets, CVO carry out tour pac & saddlebag liners, Road Tech Zumo 660 . All thes accessories should be with the bike. Don't let them tell you they don't have them. These all came with the bike. Ask them if it has 7 year extended warranty & tire & wheel warranty. See if you can get the name of the person that originally had the bike & talk to him. This is a great bike at this price.

Check out the harley website. It has a good on line brochure on the bike.

Good luck & you will enjoy your new CVO!
