That's cool brother thanks. I only recently joined so I still have a lot to learn about this forum. I didn't sign in today just to make that comment or ask that question it seems anytime I google something HD related it takes me here and it's always helpful I usually find what I'm looking for. Todays task was to find out what the MSRP was for a '79 Lowrider when new. A couple guys said around 5g give or take. But hey man thanks for the heads up. Ride safe!

Default Shovel $

Paid $5000 a few years back for my buddies 79 FXS with around 150,000 miles in it....leaks like crazy, leaves me sorting electrical issues on the shoulder once in a while, but just keeps pounding along.

I paid $4,800 for my 1980 FXEF 80" in 1981. Pomona Valley Harley Davidson had two blue and two root beer brown leftovers.

I shopped and bought a new black 79 OTD for $5200. He swears that's was the price in 77 for the Low Rider and I can't believe the price went up $2K in 2 years. If I'm not mistaken the MSRP on a 79 was $5495.

Help a brother out ....................
I bought a brand new 77 Lowrider I believe it was $3700
