pull the cover off the cam cover ( 2 screw cover ) and look - picture it and the guys will let you know what you have

A set of points usually has only 1 wire coming out of the cam cover. Electronic ignition should have 2 or 3 wires.

Sounds like your going to need to know more than just points vs electronic ignition!!
