Question - is the shock compressed? Just looking at clearance. Still on the fence w/the bodywork, but respect what your doing. After all, it’s your scoot!

No its extended, the bike needs a 13.5" shock with the new arm vs the 12" it came with thats in the pic.

I didn't want to build "just another bobber" that blends in with the sea of bobbers out there. There are some exceptional ones out there for sure which I find inspiring but Im not copying any of them. And like you said, its mine and Im the one that needs to be happy.

I need to add more wire to the framework to create the bulge around the shocks then Ill break out the english wheel and have some fun.

Sprocket spacer is done, moves it over just enough but still registers on the drum which is how I needed it to be to get that warm fuzzy feeling. Longer rivets too so Ill mount the sprocket sometime soon and continue on.

So Im sticking with the stock primary but Ill run the 11mm belt inside as per John's suggestion, Ill need to offset the trans and primary, order tires, shocks and set ride height.

I didn't worry about using 4 rivets that look different from the rest, presumably to hold the sprocket on initially before the hammer rivets are used?

Been following your build and have enjoyed the progress ... like the frame work for the body ... do you have enough room above the tire for the shocks to work ... just asking

I need to put tires on it and set the height front and rear then I can settle on a position for the fender to clear. Right now I would get about an inch of suspension travel which isn't much and its something I was concerned about. I do want the fender as close as possible to the tire without it moving with the tire so if I could end up taking the shock apart to put in a bump stop.

The only thing I like about the oil tank is that it contains an oil filter so its one less external thing to clutter up the bike. Lubricating roller bearings isn't so tough and its lasted this long so Ill stick with it.
