picture kinda sucks it’s under strap......I build street rods so buy 10 at a time with the plastic plugs and connector separate . I solder all the terminal and kinda follow GM color codes...why you see purple that solenoid wire color on gm. Might want to ask the more knowledgeable guys on this deal......I only have done 8-10 like this....mostly my own.

Thanks I really like that idea and we'll be using it on mine. When I changed over my ignition to a screaming eagle module and new standard Motor products pick up in the nose cone I wired in a Deutsch connector harness for it. Late 90s, works awesome. Plug and play now.... I even wired in the voes switch to a manual toggle switch on the dash so if I'm cruising long cruises I can just advance my timing...

I must want this done pretty quick...only been here a week or so but worked thru the night.. This is the kind of mess you find that I won’t put up with. Cut it all out....soldered,dielectric grease and shrink tube all connectors ....knocked rust off the coils and than light coat of black . I always hated seeing those jap looking green coils lol..... primary cover was such a mess I sanded it down to nickel copper and buffed it quick.( if I find a bare aluminum one I’ll change it).....NOT A SHOW BIKE....but not a rat if I can help it. Worn but not ratty I hope.

Made up a clip to hold those junk Chinese braided lines off exhaust .( lines will get changed to simple black hose shortly)Welded another tab under what I think was kick only batt box. Used a stock insulator and a junk piece of aluminum for extra batt box support. Nice and tight but can move. Again not a show bike....just solid parts chaser/ lunch runner.

Thanks for reminding me John on how damn annoying the front calipers are...I haven’t had one of these in a couple years. Double sided tape both sides of front calipers per John. Again not a show bike or I would hide the red 3 m. But it’s what I had at 3 am...lol. Change it up after I put miles on it...needs rotors as they were rusty on one side. Front wheel is worst part of bike....I don’t have any 19 or 23s. Mostly a fl guy
