Can any one tell Me if the front end fork bearings are the same size from 79 fxe to a later (05)
sportster ?I have a later model sportster front end (chrome) would like t install on my shovel,
Will they inter change?

The neck bearings in the shovel are one inch and I think the new Sportster also is one inch. I just can't remember when they went to one inch on the sportys. I think i was in 04 so you should be good.

 

check the part # from V-twin or another catalog, the ones that I checked are the
same part # for most, you should also check # for the race also.
