I hear they have an exchange program for shovelhead engine cases, they even laser your vin # on new cases.

Has anyone bought these? Got ****? differences/comparison to Delkron or S&S?

I am rebuilding my 80" chopper and want to start w strong foundation.

Stock cases will take 88" no problem and a lot of abuse so I gotta ask whats wrong with yours ? Always best to keep your original numbers and unless a rod has gone through them ????????????????????

 

an indy builder told me since I am considering rewelding some old welds on originals which comes w no warranty, vs S&S, vs Mo Co which come w vin#.

Prices are welding $500-$600, Mo Co $900, S&S $1100. S&S gives good warranty

 

Do some shopping you can find S&S under $1000 or may I suggest Ultima , those are heavy duty , beefy as hell and very clean plus cost LESS .

They come with a MOS not VIN numbers buddy If your thinking that's a way around a paperwork issue your really not going to like the education the state will give you when you try the DMV .

You'll need the new case papers and your old title plus the old damaged cases for them to see and they will issue a builders title and that can be a royal pain depending where you live .
