Frount Break Switch
my 1968 Police Special Harley Davidson, Does not have a Frount Brake Light Switch, and I want to add one has any one done this before.
Thought I stop working on this bike a long time ago, but no harley dealer will touch anything this old.

Remember that dashpot looking switch used on the older mechanical rear brakes , the one that had the spring ? I've rigged a few of those to a extra mirror clamp & the brake lever back in the day on a bikes to meet some state inspection BS . Do it right doesn't look bad at all and it's not permanent or damaging to the old parts . With today's assortment of stuff available there's at least a half dozen ways you could go easy , depends on how simple or concealed you wanna go and your talent with a making a few things & tools .
