Default trans sprocket

I am having a hell of a time finding a socket for my trans sprocket,,GGGRRRRR

Buy a socket of the right size,cut it in half and weld a piece pipe in between, to extend it

most guys, & shops I been around have done this, I dont remember the size on top of my head, but this is the cheap way, & works fine.

Dan think what he wants to do is remove the nut.

If that is the case a hammer and chisel with sprocket shaft secure work just fine...nut comes loos with ease after a couple of raps

I owe all you guys an apology , note to self have at least 2 cups of coffee AND put the glasses on when reading after a night of Capt. Morgans shots in the garage .

I've seem them around $30 on egay

Thanks guys,my bud brought me one he made years ago,socket cut in half with about a 10" pipe welded between the two,works like a damn

I made mine by buying the 3/4 drive socket that fit the nut then welding an extra 15/16 half in drive i had

Me too! Cept I used a 6 point socket for the sprocket nut.
