Default CV carb support Bracket

I have a 74 shovelhead that I have redone the top end. I put on the CV carb a velocity stack that adds considerable weight. Can some one recommend some kind of support bracket that will work with this set up. There are what appears to be mounting holes on the bottom of the rocker boxes between the tubes that appear to be mounting place.

your bottom bolt on the manifold could attach to the center bolt on the engine block with a bracket they sell that is adjustable, for different lengths between the 2 connections -- johnjzjz

I was thinking of something like that but wasn't too keen on loosening that engine block bolt incase it cracked the seal, but then again I think that is where it would make sence to put it. Who sells them, im in Ontario Canada? Thanks

i have never had an issue with taking the nut off one side of the cases and installing a bracket

V twin i believe has them and everyone had sold them in the past its what is done from the original chopper days foward when changing out to any carb - early shovels had a bracket off the front head underneath to the air filter it also held the choke cable bendix and keihin carbs - johnjzjz

Linkert carbs on pans are set up withe the mounting bracket that runs off the engine block bolt. Never been an issue. And if you think about it, you are are not going to break the seal. The cylinders are sitting on top of the case halves so that will not be an issue.

Nice looking motor you have there. Stock? modified? what gasket material did you use?

S&S used to and I think any big supplier like Custom Chrome or Drag Spec. should still carry them .
