Thumbs up Installed my softailloweringkit collars...FINALLY!

Got these about 3-4 weeks ago and have not had time to put them on.

I got them from the company that actually makes them. Great customer service and communication. A+

Pretty easy except for the collars themselves. Was a beyotch working with my lift that didn't allow the best working room for access to the collar area.

I installed the 1.5 drop... I can't imagine it slammed with the 2.0 drop.

All I can say is WOW...what a difference in looks and handling with the lower center of gravity. Suspension feels more stiff though...but not horrible.

Here's the before pic...

...and the afters.

Awesome kit...wish I knew about it when I bought my bike a few years back...

Looks great!

Still not sure what you have against Dead Creek Cycles though. Lol You always mention that "these are the people that actually make them". I have no idea why that matters. So whether you buy them from Dead Creek Cycles or from softailloweringkit.com...its the same kit, at the same price and both stand behind the product.

Because he was ignored after consant posts begging for a "deal" from a forum sponser that has been nothing but helpful on here and in replys to communication off the forum. Guess that makes them bad guys and target for reprisal? lol

Constant posts and begging? Thanks Captain Dis-information, but I asked twice and was ignored twice. I was trying to drum up MORE business for them by asking for a GROUP purchase. It's been done for years on many boards. What a dick I am for trying to save a couple bucks, help a bunch of other people out and get a large order for a board vendor...

BTW - here's my two "begging" posts...LOL.

...and as for the "target for reprisal"...please show me where I slammed DCC ANYWHERE on this board.

In the end...they ignored my request...I chose to spend my $$$ elsewhere. It's as simple as that. Was happy to purchase from the maker after reading a really great customer service report.

Why are you so upset about my post?

I just took mine off...I actually like corners to much to scrape my pipes down to nothing. Besides with my new hard bags you won't be able to tell if its lowered or not. Not slamming the kit but man the deluxe just goes to low.
