Default 90 evo weak spark

My 90 FXST was running fine, started having starting issues, now wont start. I have very weak spark, sometimes orange if any. Plugs are new and gapped, plug wires are new, tested coil and tried a friends, thats fine. My next guesses are the ignition module, or the cam timing plate. The cam plate is not melted, but I guess that doesnt mean that its bad?

What else could this be? Battery doesnt give me any issues, holds a charge no problem.. How could I tell if its the ign. module? Pricey part to try and not be it.

Thanks

Not much other way than to swap them out.
If you still have the stock one get a Dynatec 2000P then no matter what it will run better.

For anyone else with a similar problem, it was my ign. module. I had a SE sportster one laying around, wired it in and Walla, fired right up.

Thanks for the heads up. Always nice to hear the fix after a problem is presented.
