I mounted a sportster horn underneath the right side cover. If you have ABS, there is less room under the cover because of the ABS module, so you have to get creative. There is quite a bit of room behind the rear cylinder on the frame where the coil is. On my 2013 Street glide (no ABS) I did the same mod but mounted the stock horn under the right side cover. I got a horn kit from DK Customs which comes with a wiring extension. Had to pull the tank and route the wires along the backbone and then down the right side. I also cut off the tab where the horn mounts to the motor bracket to give it a clean look. I think I'm going to try and mount the stock horn in the frame area because I like the deeper tone better than the higher pitched sportster horn. I'm out of town, but I'll get some more pics up as soon as I can.
When I get home tonight I will send you a better pic.... its the kuryakan horn cover if you want to look it up before I get home.....I'm not a fan of them but this cover is solid....they come with either chrome housing or black, they include both black and chrome meshing so you have your choice of the insert mesh.
