Default Police siren switch mod?

Is there a mod to change this to a spring-loaded horn switch? Or, do I need to buy a new switch and splice it in?

I used mine on the FXRp for flashy passing lights ( with a relay)- the pursuit switch was used for passing lights on

and horn button on the left side- for horn

I only have a siren switch on the left side, where the horn would normally be. It's a maintained switch; wondering if it can be changed to momentary/spring-loaded.

What year & model Police bike do you have? Have you made any modifications to the left side hand controls?

It's a 2001 FLHPEI. I have not changed anything on the controls.

I don't understand exactly what you are looking to do. I think you are talking about switch #2 - Siren Wail On/Off. That switch will probably not function without the police siren package on the bike. The public usually doesn't get the package with the bike, usually removed by dealer.

Your horn should work with switch #5 - Horn/Siren Yelp which is a spring loaded momentary switch. The Siren side would have caused the siren to give a quick yelp while the Horn side should cause the horn to beep. The siren side is most likely non functional because the siren has been removed. The horn should work.
