Having a touring bike that you've "customized and accessorized" to fit you and meet your needs can eat up the miles and make a 500 mile day go very quickly and easy.
With the proper fitting of handlebars, windshield, rider back rest, foot pegs, and electronic cruise control can make riding your bike as comfy as sitting in your easy chair at home.![Big Grin](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'm still searching for the "right" cup holder for me and my bike and I've had it for 5 years...so far.

Its funny people ask me why I don't just drive my car on these trips, and its just not the same. Being on a bike, even riding through flat boring Kansas was enjoyable, I'm pretty sure I would have dreaded it from behind the wheel of a car.

Couldn't agree more! It's a big change from the sporty I was riding a couple years ago! My 7 dollar cup holder I got from Amazon did great on the trip. Held my coffee and my water bottle like a champ!
