Watch for the Lovebugs in South GA. Most stations are running out of gas in the Spring Hill area don't know about the rest of the state.

Having a touring bike that you've "customized and accessorized" to fit you and meet your needs can eat up the miles and make a 500 mile day go very quickly and easy.

With the proper fitting of handlebars, windshield, rider back rest, foot pegs, and electronic cruise control can make riding your bike as comfy as sitting in your easy chair at home.

I'm still searching for the "right" cup holder for me and my bike and I've had it for 5 years...so far.

Yep, think I'm hooked on distance riding too. Main reason I bought my Street Glide. I'm about to leave for my third trip of the summer. Did a bit over a week riding to the Colorado Rockies from St. Louis, riding around there and then back, on my Wide Glide. Took my Street Glide for its maiden "trip" from STL down to a bit south of Atlanta, but detouring over to the Cherohala Skyway on the way down. Now I'm going to leave tomorrow morning to go to Yellowstone and then the Black Hills on the Street Glide. I'm going to try camping on this trip. Usually I just stay in hotels.

Its funny people ask me why I don't just drive my car on these trips, and its just not the same. Being on a bike, even riding through flat boring Kansas was enjoyable, I'm pretty sure I would have dreaded it from behind the wheel of a car.

Couldn't agree more! It's a big change from the sporty I was riding a couple years ago! My 7 dollar cup holder I got from Amazon did great on the trip. Held my coffee and my water bottle like a champ!
